Picnic on the Green for Prep School Charity Day
On Tuesday 22nd June, the whole Prep School community came together for their Summer Term Charity Day. Wearing their best non-uniform ‘Summer’ outfits, the Prep School Prefects led six year group assemblies in the morning, alongside visitor Kat, from the Fundraising Team at St Elizabeth’s Centre. A cheque of a phenomenal £22,000 was presented to Kat; the sum of the entire years’ worth of fundraising done by the Prep School.
In the afternoon, pupils and staff gathered on Middle and Lower Green for a Community Charity Picnic. The sun almost shone as pupils enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea, with their teddy bears in tow. The day ended with a movie bonanza back in the classrooms, and for anyone who had any room left after all the treats during the picnic, there was popcorn too!
Thank you to everyone who donated and made all the charity days and events in this extraordinary year so special and memorable.
