Join us on Saturday 20 September 2025, from 9am - 2pm for our College Open Event for all stages of entry. Meet our staff and pupils, enjoy a pupil-led tour of our beautiful campus, participate in interactive workshops and hear from Jo Wallace, Head of Pre-Prep, Rachael Cox, Head of the Prep School, Alex Swart-Wilson, Head of Sixth Form, and John Maguire, College Headmaster. Our Pre-Prep, Prep School, and Senior School Admissions teams will also be available for any questions regarding our admissions process, scholarships, fees, and bursaries.

Many of our Sixth Form students take advantage of the range of musical opportunities available and actively participate in one of our many ensembles, orchestra, bands or choir. Leading musicians regularly gain distinctions in The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) diploma, and recent scholarships include those to The Royal College of Music and Berklee College of Music. Whatever your musical taste or interest, they’ll be something for you to get involved with.

Sport

We offer a comprehensive and ambitious sports programme for our Sixth Form students, catering for both recreational participants and elite athletes. Each term you’ll get the option to sign up for the sports you would like to do and can choose whether you’d like to be involved in team games, racket sports, swimming or health and fitness. Before school, strength and conditioning training is available for Sports Scholars and there is the opportunity to swim every morning.

Developing leadership skills is a real focus throughout your time in Sixth Form. You will take part in a bespoke leadership course with an emphasis on communication and teamwork. Following this, there will be lots of opportunities to put your leadership skills into practice through one of our many leadership positions, such as School Prefects and Heads of House. Through these groups you can help shape the future of the College and develop skills that will prepare you for the wider world.

Trips

A huge range of trips run throughout your two-year journey with us and include College-wide trips such as skiing, sports adventures, House excursions and Sixth Form specific trips. These are linked to A Level subjects and have previously included a geography trip to Iceland, a physics trip to CERN in Switzerland, and a combined drama, business and economics trip to New York. At the end of the Lower Sixth year, you will have the opportunity to join the expedition to Zimbabwe and Botswana where you will spend time supporting a primary school in Bunina as well learning about and experiencing the wildlife in their natural environment.

Our Sixth Form social events are a highlight of our calendar for many, and are organised through our student-run social team. From informal BBQs and quiz nights to formal black tie dinners and balls, a calendar of events run throughout the year, strengthening our Sixth Form community and sense of togetherness.
