On Saturday 7 June, several of our Prep School swimmers traveled to the London Olympic Aquatic Centre to compete in this year’s Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS) National Finals.

Millie C, Ivy P, Elsie L, and Kayla S, achieved an outstanding 8th place in the country in both the freestyle and medley relays, with each of them delivering exceptional performances, and achieving personal bests in their individual events. Millie C achieved 4th nationally in the 50 metre freestyle, clocking a personal best of 29.02 seconds.

In the afternoon, the boys took to the pool, with 12 College swimmers competing across the U10 to U13 age groups. The level of competition was extremely high, but every swimmer rose to the occasion and performed superbly. Max D, Haydn B, Zack H-F, and Jenson R placed 4th and 5th in their relays—an impressive achievement among 20 top teams. The U12 boys’ team, featuring George H, Alex E, Josh G, and Oliver V, secured a strong 6th place finish, significantly improving on their qualification times.

A huge well done to all the swimmers who represented the College on Saturday.
