GCSE Results 2023

Upper Fifth (Year 11) pupils at Bishop’s Stortford College are celebrating today after receiving their 2023 GCSE results.

72% of results were graded 9 to 7, with 98% of all results at grade 5 or above. Nine pupils achieved grade 9 across all their GCSEs and 37 pupils join the College’s prestigious Ten Club; members must achieve grade 7 or above in 10 GCSEs to be invited to join.

Commenting on their success, College Head, Kathy Crewe-Read said, “Much of what a really good school does is not readily quantifiable. Nevertheless, it is important to see some sort of measurement, particularly in the area of academic performance.”

Crewe-Read continues, “Our Upper Fifth pupils have delivered on this and their hard work and resilience has been reflected with a superb set of GCSE results. I am excited to see where their next steps will be and what they all go on to achieve in the future.”
