College Community Celebrates Platinum Jubilee

College Jubilee Celebrations

On Friday 27th May, the College community celebrated the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in style. 

Joining many other schools across the country in their celebrations, pupils across the College dressed in their best red, white and blue outfits in honour of Her Majesty with competitions being held in the Prep School for those who were 'best dressed'. There were some amazing outfits and during the picnic celebrations, Middle Green was a sea of red, white and blue!

The morning began with tree planting ceremonies in each of the schools (part of the Queen's Green Canopy), which will grow and bloom over time, serving as a reminder of the celebrations and occasion for many years to come.

Picnics on Middle Green and at the Pre-Prep swiftly followed with the Prep School enjoying lemonade and doughnuts and live music from the Senior School Band. 

 

 

Further activities throughout the day included a bake caking competition in the Prep School, as well as many jubilee-themed challenges.
