Prep School Charity Day Shell Pupils

Silver and blue outfits were to be seen all around the Prep School on Thursday 16th December when pupils celebrated their Christmas Charity Day. In aid of the Phoenix Group, which helps deaf children and young adults in the local area, pupils participated in a variety of activities including a winter themed cake sale and raffle.

Pupils were also given a Christmas Signing Challenges, and pupils from Shell to Upper Third proudly showed their peers how to sign phrases such as 'Thank you for my Christmas present' and 'Christmas dinner was delicious!' A fantastic skill to have learned.

A highlight of the day was the whole of the Prep School, 450+ pupils, gathering together on Middle Green to sign the popular Christmas hymn, Silent Night, as well as some festive favourites including Jingle Bells and We Wish You A Merry Christmas.

The afternoon culminated with a wonderful Talent Show with Shell pupils taking part in a live show in the Prep School Hall, whilst pupils in Form One to Upper Third showcased their talents over Zoom from their classrooms. The votes were cast and congratulations to the following pupils:
