Reception class on dinosaur day

Reception pupils were surprised to meet a baby dinosaur and a much larger dinosaur on Tuesday 25th May! Luckily the pupils learned that the larger dinosaur was a herbivore, so there was no chance any of them being eaten!

Having learned about the different types of dinosaur, especially the brachiosaurus, whilst reading ‘Andy’s Dinosaur Adventures’ in their lessons, the pupils were delighted to have a whole day dedicated to talking more about dinosaurs, understanding the difference between herbivores and carnivores, sharing their dinosaur knowledge and even excavating some dinosaur bones and fossils.

*In the Pre-Prep our pupils and staff are in year group bubbles.
