Help with Fees FAQs
Can I apply for a Bursary?
Bursaries are awarded to pupils who meet our entrance criteria but whose families cannot afford the fees. Bursaries are means tested. Further information is available on the Financially Assisted Places page.
I serve in the British Armed Forces - can you offer my family any subsidies?
Families qualifying for the Continuity of Education Allowance, whose children meet our entrance criteria will pay no more than 10% of our fees for full boarding places. Further information can be found on our Bursaries for Forces Families page.
What is the difference between a Scholarship and a Bursary?
Scholarships are awarded to pupils through our admissions process and recognise gifted and talented pupils and are awarded at the discretion of the Head. Means tested Bursaries are awarded to those who meet our entrance criteria but who, due to family circumstances, might not otherwise be able to benefit from a College education. A Bursary award may also be supplemented with a Scholarship.
