Prep School Gourmets Sample Seasonal Produce
Shell and Prep School pupils entered into the Christmas spirit with a festive tasting-session in the Dining Hall on Friday 21st November, as the Catering Team had arranged for three of the College's food suppliers to present some of their seasonal produce.
Split into groups of 20 or so, the pupils were invited to taste the foods on display and to ask questions. Some of the foods they tried were fresh figs, pomegranate, baby rainbow carrots, sprouts, roast turkey, gammon and beef, pigs in blankets, vegan sticky toffee pudding and mince pies.
The morning was a great success and the pupils said afterwards how much they had enjoyed this tasty event!
