Prep school pupils enjoy tea with grandparents 2019

On Monday 1st July pupils in Upper Shell, Form Two and the Upper Third invited over 120 grandparents into school for the afternoon. Having met in the Prep School Hall, the pupils took their grandparents on a tour of the school, before taking them across to the Memorial Hall for a lovely concert featuring solo musicians, small groups, choirs and the Prep School Band and Orchestra to finish.

Having worked up a thirst, the group then proceeded to the Dining Hall where the catering team had prepared an afternoon tea with sandwiches, cakes and scones with jam and cream. With a quiz to keep all ages busy, everybody left in good spirits having had an enjoyable afternoon.
