Lower Thirds' Hands On Science Day in London
On Tuesday 15th January Lower Third pupils enjoyed a fantastic day out at the London Science Museum. They experienced a live rocket show investigating forces, spent time exploring the 'interactive wonderlab' and visited a wide range of different exhibits and interactive displays ranging from 'future technologies', 'evolution and genetics', 'atmosphere and climate change', 'flight', 'clocks', 'mathematics' and 'materials'.
Everyone enjoyed the fun, hands on day of science, with Joshua saying he "liked the Rocket Show, I found it very educational and fun", but "my favourite bit of the day has to be Wonderlab". Hazel also loved the 'Wonderlab' because "there were many interactive activities each of which would teach you something about Science, such as the ‘Flowing Mist’, the 'Chemistry Bar, ’ the ‘Matter Zone’, the ‘Colour Room’, the ‘Light Zone’ and so much more!".
