Young Sherlock Solves Mystery!
There was chaos at Butterworth Academy boarding house on the night of Tuesday 5th June, as several of the school pupils mysteriously went missing, with rumours that they had been kidnapped by a terrible beast. Luckily, it was all part of the Lower Third production of 'Young Sherlock'! In the course of the play, the lead character Holmes develops his observational skills and tries to figure out exactly what is going on and, true to form, he does. With the help of her 'psychotic' (sorry, 'psychic'!) sister, the kidnapping beast turns out to be Butterworth Academy's very own headmistress!
What a great performance by a large cast of forty pupils, who all worked incredibly hard to produce the technical and quite challenging production. Well done to everyone involved and a big thank you to the twelve additional Lower Third pupils who worked backstage, on the lighting and front of house.
