Exploring Cornwall on Fabulous Science Trip

Sixty-three Form 2 pupils enjoyed an action-packed trip to the Manor House Activity and Development Centre in Cornwall during half term, indulging in a variety of activities as well as plenty of Cornish sunshine!  Split into two groups, which overlapped with everyone meeting at the Eden Project for a day, both groups enjoyed cycling the Camel Trail, kayaking near Falmouth, climbing on sea cliffs near St. Ives and surfing at Watergate Bay, as well as several evenings on the beach, toasting marshmallows and playing games.

The trip enabled pupils to learn about many aspects of Science in an adventurous, fun and active way, while also encouraging new friendships within the year group.
