Ruth then spent the morning doing workshops with Upper Shell. The workshops enabled the pupils to deepen their learning on Judaism through a variety of different activities. They had an opportunity to make candles, try writing Hebrew, tasting some of the foods eaten during Passover and trying on prayer shawls. The children responded brilliantly to the sessions, asking lots of questions and engaging with the activities. As one pupil commented afterwards, “that was so much fun but we also learnt a lot!”
