Prep School's Amazing Year of Fundraising

Pupils selling cakes at prefects charity day

Tuesday 4th July was Prefects Charity Day in the Prep School, with pupils swapping school uniform for colourful "Summer Flowers" wear, in order to raise money for the Helen Rollason Charity and Guide Dogs. There was also a fantastic array of cakes for sale at breaktime. Kate Alden from the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity joined the Prep School for the Prefects Charity Day assembly, which was about animal and plant facts from the Guinness Book of World records.

At the end of the assembly the Prefects announced the total amount of money raised this year in aid of Guide Dogs and the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity:  more than £21,000, with £15,000 going to the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity. The pupils voted to continue to support the Prep School's new guide dog, Bramble, further in his training.

A big thank you to the Prep School Friends and all of our Prep School parents for their support and help in raising this amazing sum.
