A great start today by the girls, winning their first match comfortably and batting well. The second match was closer but we got them all out and Harriet H got some great catches. In our next match we lost the swing of things with our batting and made a few errors in the field. In our final match we played really well in the field with more good catches from Dara S, and working as a team to get batters from the BSC ‘A’ team out. Most of them were stumped out by Georgie M and Clara H. Good batting today from Dara S, who was player of the tournament.

- BSC v Forest Hall School Won 10.5 - 1
- BSC v Leventhorpe Won 10 - 2.5

The girls qualified comfortably through the group stage and then beat Saffron Walden County High School 4.5 - 2.5 in the semi-final. The final was closely contested but the girls held their nerves and won 7 - 4.5 to become District Champions.

- BSC v SWCHS Won 10-2.5
- BSC v Ralph Sadleir Won 8.5 - 2.5
A cracking performance by the U12B's today. A strong first performance against SWCHS gave the girls confidence moving into their match against Ralph Sadleir. At half time we were trailing by 1 rounder however some superb fielding saw the opposition only score 2 rounders. The girls moved into their final battings innings needing to score 3.5 rounders to win. The girls rose to the challenge and were outstanding scoring 4.5 rounders to see them crowned district champions. Well done. Player of the tournament was Lola B.
Congratulations: U12B District Champions!
Congratulations to our U13As, who have become Rounders District Champions. The team worked well together in both batting and fielding, keeping focus and believing in themselves.

Placed 2nd in their own tournament. Player of the tournament Abigail M.
- BSC vs Joyce Frankland Won 11.5-9
- BSC vs SWCHS Lost 5.5-12.5
A great start for the girls today batting well against Joyce Frankland and fielding tightly in the first innings. Good bowling from Brooke C as well and some lovely fielding from Alice De B and Abigail M. In the second inngings of this game and our game against SWCHS we made a few mistakes in the field giving away rounders. Also in this game we hit the ball high allowing them to catch us out. The girls should still be pleased with their performance at the start of this game as they worked well as a team and showed some promising fielding that needs more consistency. Well done!
The U15 girls showed really strong form in the group matches with the following results:
- BSC v Walden School won 11.5 - 1
- BSC v Bishop's Stortford College B won 9 - 0
- BSC v Leventhorpe won 5.5 - 5
- BSC v Helena Romanes School won 7 - 2.5
In the semi-finals they recorded a comfortable win 5 - 0.5 against Brentwood School.
They met Saffron Walden County High School in the final and had to bat first, scoring just 3 rounders. Being under pressure to keep the score low led to uncharacteristic dropped catches, which allowed Saffron Walden to pip us by just half a rounder! (lost 3 - 3.5)
