Form 2's Action Packed Trip to Cornwall
During half term, fifty-three Form 2 pupils enjoyed an action-packed trip, linked to Science, at the Manor House Activity and Development Centre in Cornwall, managing to find lots of sunshine during their stay. While not specifically a Science trip, there were plenty of opportunities to learn about various aspects of Physics and Biology.
Split into two groups, which overlapped with everyone meeting at the Eden Project for a day, both groups enjoyed cycling the Camel Trail, kayaking near Falmouth, climbing on sea cliffs near St. Ives and surfing at Watergate Bay, as well as several evenings on the beach, toasting marshmallows and playing games.
The trip enabled pupils to learn about many aspects of Science in an adventurous, fun and active way, while also encouraging new friendships within the year group.
