The 80 Club is a strong rooted tradition at Bishop's Stortford College. Members simply have to swim eight lengths of the pool everyday. However, they do so at 7.00 am!!
Members who achieve 80 mornings during the school year are awarded an 80 Club tie or towel. Those who manage to raise themselves from their bed for 120 mornings receive a silver spoon.
All pupils' swimming counts towards the House Competition, whether they swim just once or every morning available. The winning House has the most students swimming.
