Classrooms in the German Department looked very festive in the build up to the holidays, as Germanists celebrated Easter in true German style. A colourful Easter tree laden with beautifully painted German Easter decorations has been decorating Frau Gregory's classroom and throughout the week before the holidays Lindt chocolate bunnies started gathering beneath the branches. Finally, at the end of term, the chocolate Osterhasen hopped their chocolatey way back to their pupil owner to be taken home in anticipation of Easter. Unsurprisingly, quite a few did not make it out of the classroom!
