Old School Sports Day for Upper Sixth
Hot temperatures and sunshine were the order of the day for the Upper Sixth Sports Day on Tuesday 8th June.
In true College spirit the students gave their all in an action-packed, fun-filled event. Races comprised of 100m, 200m, 400m and the gruelling 800m. Alongside this were two field events; high jump and long jump.
The final part of the day saw students compete in some sports day favourites such as the three legged race, obstacle course, egg and spoon race and finally the water sponge challenge.
There were some extremely close races throughout the afternoon, particularly the girls' 100m and boys' 100m and 4x100m relay. Amazingly the day finished in a tie between Young/Rowe and Benson/Sutton.
Well done to all the competitors and what a great way to round off their College sporting experience!
