Amazing Animations from Form 2 Dramatists!

As part of their Summer term Drama lessons, Form 2 pupils were tasked to create their own stop motion animation based on the theme of Covid-19. The pupils began by thinking about what they wanted the content of their story to be and then moved onto filming their objects. The project required a lot of patience as each time an object was moved in the slightest position, a new photo had to be taken to be able to create the final piece. Once all of the filming was complete, the pupils added in their voice-overs to narrate the story.

The pupils thoroughly enjoyed bringing their stories to life through animation and gained some beneficial filming and performance skills that can be further developed in the future, as well as illustrating a sound understanding of the Covid-19 pandemic.
