Shell Pupils Make History
Shell pupils made history last on Friday 12th June as they took part in the first ever virtual Shell Sports Day. Expertly led by Mrs Fordham, teacher of PE, on Zoom, pupils enthusiastically took part in a variety of disciplines including a standing long jump, target throw, holding a plank position and speed bouncing from home whilst pupils of key workers joined in from the Sports Hall.
The pupils gave it their all in the hope of winning those all-important points for their League and were cheered on by family members who dressed up in the corresponding League colours for support.
The results, which were worked out on the average score per pupil, are as follows:
1st Canterbury
2nd Durham
3rd York
4th Worcester
Congratulations to Canterbury for winning this year’s virtual Sports Day and well done to all who took part.
