Oliver Strikes a Chord with New Arrangement
Since the start of the Summer Term, 4th Form musicians have been studying Film Music, learning about classic Western scores, such as 'The Magnificent Seven'.
Last week the pupils were tasked with creating their own interpretation of the music for the epic 'spaghetti western,' 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'. Oliver B. took this homework assignment very seriously and spent the majority of his weekend producing the impressive arrangement you can see and hear in the video below. This cinematic production was performed, recorded, mixed, mastered and edited entirely by Oliver. In it, you can see him play 13 separate instruments as well a box of Cheerios!
Senor Nunez commented, " This is one of the most impressive preps I've ever seen from a 4th Former. Many congratulations to Oliver for his wonderful arrangement! I am sure that Ennio Morricone would have been impressed."
Well done Oliver!
